International advisory firm Consulum has appointed Baha Haroun as General Manager of its Abu Dhabi business.
Baha Haroun brings two decades of experience in strategic communications, reputation management, and trust building to Consulum.
In his new role, he leads the Abu Dhabi office of Consulum, one of the firm’s four offices in the Middle East (Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai and Riyadh). He has been tasked with driving Consulum’s next phase of growth phase in the UAE’s capital city.
“We’re delighted to welcome Baha to the team. He will play a crucial role in helping leaders in Abu Dhabi cut through noise with evidence-led programmes that drive clarity and measurable impact,” said Consulum CEO James Davies.
An experienced communications expert and former journalist, Haroun advises both government and corporate leaders, helping them build trust, influence, narratives, and lasting impact.
Commenting on his appointment, Haroun said: “Few places are transforming as ambitiously as Abu Dhabi. Joining Consulum at this moment – backed by world-class capability – is an incredible opportunity to help our clients tell their story to the world and lead with purpose, creativity, and precision that delivers real return on investment.”
Before joining Consulum, Haroun was a Senior Vice President at Burson and ASDA’A BCW, and served as Managing Editor at the Abu Dhabi Media Office, overseeing strategic communications and editorial direction. Earlier, he managed media relations for the Abu Dhabi Executive Office within the Office of Government Communications, and led Research & Studies at twofour54.
Haroun’s corporate experience includes serving as Marketing & Corporate Communications Director at Arabtec, and spending over a decade at Al Ittihad and Al Ghad developing content and editorial features.
Consulum is an independent company within Stagwell, a global marketing-focused group with over 13,000 staff worldwide.
