Customers can book codeshare flights between Nairobi and Doha, accessing 10 additional destinations soon
Qatar Airways and Kenya Airways have officially unveiled their partnership to launch codeshare flights to 19 destinations, with plans to expand this list shortly. Customers of Kenya Airways can now book codeshare flights between Nairobi and Doha, along with access to 10 additional destinations through the acclaimed Hamad International Airport.
In parallel, Qatar Airways customers can now reach eight destinations within Kenya Airways’ network, facilitated by three daily flights operating between Doha and Nairobi. Effective from October 26, 2025, passengers will be able to travel on these codeshare flights, with ticket sales commencing October 21.

Expanding African presence

Connecting Asia and the Middle East
The announcement today allows Qatar Airways to further extend its presence on the African continent, offering passengers from over 170 global destinations easier access to key leisure and business hubs served by Kenya Airways, including Lilongwe, Livingstone, Juba, Nampula, Ndola, and Victoria Falls.
Likewise, passengers flying with Kenya Airways will now be able to connect to numerous destinations in 10 countries across Asia and the Middle East via Hamad International Airport, which has been recognized as the ‘Best Airport in the Middle East’ for 11 consecutive years. These destinations encompass Bahrain, Colombo, Islamabad, Karachi, Malé, Singapore, and Tokyo Narita.
In addition, members of the Qatar Airways Privilege Club will earn Avios on codeshare flights operated by Kenya Airways.
The two airlines will continue to work together on codeshares, airport operations, lounges, sustainability, and procurement. Future collaborative efforts will also encompass network development, cargo, and aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul.
