Expanded access to key destinations
The codeshare agreement allows Qatar Airways to strengthen its African network, giving passengers from over 170 global destinations easier access to key leisure and business hubs served by Kenya Airways, including Lilongwe, Livingstone, Juba, Nampula, Ndola, and Victoria Falls.
Meanwhile, Kenya Airways passengers can connect to multiple destinations across 10 countries in Asia and the Middle East via Hamad International Airport, named the Best Airport in the Middle East for 11 consecutive years. Key destinations include Bahrain, Colombo, Islamabad, Karachi, Male, Singapore, and Tokyo Narita.
Future plans
The two airlines will continue working together on codeshares, airport operations, lounges, sustainability, and procurement. Future collaboration will also cover network development, cargo, aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul, further strengthening their strategic partnership.
